Cheongju is located in central Korea and offers convenient access from all major regions.
The city is connected by both the Gyeongbu and Jungbu expressways, and is home to Osong Station — the only KTX junction for both Gyeongbu and Honam lines — and Cheongju International Airport.
From Seoul Station, it takes about 1 hour by KTX to reach Osong Station, followed by a 20–30 minute taxi ride to Cheongju city center.
From Incheon International Airport, visitors can reach Cheongju in about 2 hours and 30 minutes by airport limousine bus or KTX via Osong.
